Legal Notice

Last reviewed

This notice sets out who publishes this website, how we are constituted, and the basis on which the information here is provided.

1. Website publisher

This website is published by US UK Tax Hub Ltd, a private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales under company number 17344058.

Registered office: 104 Stephens Road, Manchester, M20 4XD. This is the address on the Companies House record and differs from our trading addresses below, which is normal for a company of this kind.

Trading addresses: CORE, Brown Street, Manchester M2 1DH; 33 Irving Place, New York NY 10003; 600 California Street, San Francisco CA 94108.

Correspondence can be sent through the contact page, by email to hello@usuktaxhub.com, or by telephone on 0333 880 9422 — a UK practice line serving all locations rather than a number local to any one of them.

2. Nature of our services

We provide cross-border US and UK tax compliance and advisory services. US filings are prepared by practitioners authorised to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, and UK filings by accountants qualified to act in the United Kingdom.

The scope of any engagement, the work included and the fee are agreed in writing in an engagement letter before work begins. That letter governs the relationship and takes precedence over anything on this website.

3. No advice without engagement

Everything on this website is general information about how the US and UK tax systems operate. It is not tax advice, and it does not take account of anyone's particular circumstances.

Reading this site does not create a client relationship, and no position should be taken in reliance on it. Tax outcomes depend on facts, and small differences in facts change them. Advice is given only under a signed engagement letter covering your own situation.

4. Accuracy and currency

Tax law changes frequently, and thresholds and rates are usually adjusted every year. We review the content of this site periodically and show a last-reviewed date, and a tax year, on pages that quote figures.

Even so, material may be out of date at any given moment. Always confirm the current position before acting.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. Nothing here limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability arising from work we are engaged to perform is dealt with in the engagement letter for that work.

6. External links

Where we link to external sites, including HMRC and IRS resources, those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is not an endorsement.

7. Intellectual property

The content, design and branding of this website belong to US UK Tax Hub Ltd or its licensors. They may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission, other than brief quotation with attribution.

8. Personal data and cookies

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. How this site uses cookies, and how to change your choices, is set out in Cookie Settings.

9. Governing law

This notice and any dispute arising from it are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
