We ask before setting anything that is not strictly necessary. You can change your mind here at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They include the record of your own cookie choice — without it we would have to ask you on every page.
They set no identifiers for advertising and are not shared with anyone.
2. Analytics cookies
With your permission we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so we know what to improve. IP addresses are anonymised, and we do not use analytics data to identify individuals.
These load only after you accept them. If you decline, or have not answered, no analytics script is loaded at all — it is not merely disabled, it is absent from the page.
3. Marketing cookies
We set none at present. The category exists so that if we ever run advertising, it is gated behind a choice you have already been offered rather than switched on quietly.
4. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the controls above. Choosing Withdraw consent clears the record entirely, so you will be asked again on your next visit and any optional scripts stop loading.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing that for strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working as intended.
5. More information
How we handle personal data more broadly is covered in our Privacy Policy.
